7.1 Is the control system designed so as not to increase the risk to the operator or equipment safety?


7.2 Is equipment provided with start, stop and/or level controls that are clearly visible and require deliberate action to operate?


7.3 Are controls without modification / adaption?


7.4 Are controls readily accessible?


7.5 Are all controls outside any danger zone?


7.6 Are controls positioned so as to prevent inadvertent operation?


7.7 Are controls shrouded or do they have a lock-off facility?
