Is the control system designed so as not to increase the risk to the operator or equipment safety?

Is equipment provided with start, stop and/or level controls that are clearly visible and require deliberate action to operate?

Are controls without modification / adaption?

Are controls readily accessible?

Are all controls outside any danger zone?

Are controls positioned so as to prevent inadvertent operation?

Are controls shrouded or do they have a lock-off facility?
