•Is the control system designed so as not to increase the risk to the operator or equipment safety?
•Is equipment provided with start, stop and/or level controls that are clearly visible and require deliberate action to operate?
•Are controls without modification / adaption?
•Are controls readily accessible?
•Are all controls outside any danger zone?
•Are controls positioned so as to prevent inadvertent operation?
•Are controls shrouded or do they have a lock-off facility?
